We will gladly publish a
discounted pricing program for our customers who use our services.
Tariffs which have been unused in one year will be canceled without
notice. In the absence of specific customer pricing a courtesy
discount of not less than 45% will be applied.

- DISCOUNT RULE

- (1) In Section 2 under the heading
"COMMODITIES FOR SHIPPER ACCOUNT" where reference is made to a
- number(s)
only, such number (s) refer to item number (s) in the NMFC for
commodity description. When no
- specific
NMFC item number is referred to the work "Commodities" shall mean
any and all products manufactured
- or
shipped by that facility and in the case of an inbound discount
percentage shall include any and all points
- received
from another shipper.
- (2) Discounts are subject to the
following terms and conditions:
- (a)
Discounts will apply only on Minimum Charge, LTL or AQ Class Rated
shipments, except as noted.
- (b)
Discounts will apply on single line or joint line traffic, except
as noted, with participating carriers in this tariff.
- (c)
Discount will not apply on shipments subject to any other
allowance or discount provisions.
- (d)
Discounts will be shown on the freight bill as a deduction from
the otherwise applicable charges, exclusive of
-
special or accessorial charges. For example, a discount of 15 per
cent will be shown as follows:
- 500 lbs at $10.00 equals
$50.00
- 15 per cent discount equals
7.50
- New amount due
$42.50
- (e)
Discounts will apply on outbound (prepaid and collect) and on
inbound shipments picked up by NTC
-
from a direct service point.
- (f)
The term discount, where used in this tariff is separate and
distinct from Freight All Kinds Classes. Where a
-
discount is published as applying on inbound shipments (prepaid
and collect) the term discount does not
-
extend to include FAK classes.
- (g) Where
discounts have been published for both shipper and consignee the
terms and conditions of the discount
-
item published for the party paying the freight charges shall
apply.

Discount Tariff
Item 150 - Minimum
Charges
Revised April 17, 2007
1.
The provisions of this tariff apply only on LTL or AQ
class rated (including qualified minimum charge shipments)
which are accepted for transportation from one consignor, at
one time and place, or accepted by carrier up delivery to
carrier’s terminal.
2.
Discount percentages as published in sections 1 and 2
are applicable only on shipments subject to LTL or class
ratings provided in the governing classification as set out
in item 50 or exception to NMFC class ratings. Discount
percentages published are then applicable to the
corresponding LTL or class rate or minimum charge revenue
assessed on shipments rated only under tariffs as listed in
item 100.
3.
Discounts named in this tariff will apply only when
pickup service is performed by Nebraska Transport Co., Inc.
or when shipments are delivered to carrier’s terminal by the
shipper or cartage agent at the expense of the carrier.
4.
LTL or class rated shipments accepted from a shipper
by carrier and moving subject to class rates or minimum
charges in tariffs set out in item 100, qualify for
discounts as set out in sections 1 and 2 subject to the
provision of this item.
5.
Shipments subject to discounts provided in this
tariff will not be subject to any further allowances or
discounts.
6.
The provisions of this tariff will not apply in
connection with C.O.D. or order notify shipments unless
handled direct by Nebraska Transport Co., Inc.
7.
There will be no payments of any sums to parties
responsible for freight charges covering discounts allowed.
The provisions of sections 1 and 2, namely, the applicable
charge after the discount has been applied, effects total
payment due from each party responsible for freight charges.
8.
Shipments originated by Nebraska Transport Co., Inc.
will be subject to a minimum charge (after the applicable
discount has been applied) as follows:

a.
Between direct service points in the states of
Arkansas, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi,
Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Tennessee and Wyoming and
direct points in the same states - $59.00.

b.
Between direct service points in the states of
Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,
Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Tennessee,
Wisconsin and Wyoming and direct or indirect points in the
states of Illinois, Wisconsin and direct points in Indiana - $72.00

c.
From direct service points in the states of Arkansas,
Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi,
Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin and
Wyoming to indirect points in these same states and
additionally to the states of Minnesota, Montana, New
Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma and Texas - $79.00.

From direct service points to states not listed above
(except Alaska and Hawaii): $92.00

9.
Discounts on joint-line traffic are subject to
concurrences in effect at the time of interchange.
10.
Discounts will not apply on accessorial charges.
11.
Discounts published in section 1 do not apply to the
extent discounts are applicable in section 2.
12.
Discounts do not apply on household goods or personal
effects as described in items 1002000 through 100292 of the
Governing Classification.
13.
Discounts do not apply on shipments of high value
commodities. For purposes of discount application, high
value means a released or actual value (whichever is lower)
of $35.00 per pound or greater.
14.
When conflicts of discounts occur the published
pricing provisions applicable for the payor of the freight
charges will take precedence.
- Discounts making specific
reference to this item are subject to the following provisions
and conditions:

1.
Shipper or consignee desiring participation in the
provisions of specific discounts and/or exception ratings
published in items making reference hereto must notify an
authorized representative of Nebraska Transport co., Inc. P
O Box 1646, Scottsbluff, NE 69361 in writing or sent to the
local terminal for forwarding. The request must state the
specific NEBT 600 discount item and/or exception rating in
which participation is desired.

2.
Participation, as requested per paragraph 1 above,
will commence upon the day agreed in writing by an
authorized carrier representative.

3.
Cancellation may be accomplished by either party, in
writing, with a minimum of ten (10) days’ notice.
